PROGRAMMABILITY: |
EEPROM based programmed via RS232 port connected to any IBM PC compatible software is provided. Programmable channel sampling sequence (Analog and Bilevel), sub frame sync (location and pattern in word lengths), major frame length, word size in bits (6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, or 12), bit rate and the output code (NRZ-L, NRZ-M, NRZ-S, BIO-L, BIO-M, BIO-S, DM-M, DM-S, and RNRZ-L). Other bit rates can be obtained by specifying when ordering or using an external clock. |

32, 64, 96, 128, 256 ect. Channels of single ended or differential, 24 bits of bilevel single ended, 0 to 5 volts, TTL/CMOS threshold. EEPROM programmable gain and offset per channel. The number of channels is provided in increments of 32 differential or 64 single ended. Additional Bilvel channels are optional. |

RS232/RS422 |
Direct RS232 or RS422 input. Whenever a full byte has been received, it is inserted into the EEPROM programmed PCM channel. A timing pulse is available to indicate the rate at which the date is transmitted. Buffering is internally provided. Receive Buffer Empty signal is available at the connector. |

SERIAL SYNCHRONOUS DOWN LINK CAPABILITY: |
Serial bytes input and buffered at rates up to 1 MBit with an external serial data clock. |
